Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Metrology Engineer for our Golden Valley, MN location.
Citizenship Required: United States Citizenship
Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance
Telecommute: No - Teleworking not available for this position
Travel Required: Some travel required – 10%

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Support the design and development of integrated systems with overall metrology solutions being a key component
Design, develop, calibrate, and execute metrology platforms for cryogenic systems, testing, and verification
Collaborate with engineers and scientists while performing laboratory experiments, gathering and analyzing data to verify solutions meet key customer objectives and overall system operation needs
Understand and mitigate experimental uncertainties via statistical tools, techniques, and methodologies
Create and communicate scientific documentation
Partner with project leadership for overall project execution
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
Minimum 5 years’ experience in metrology, engineering, or related discipline
U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance
WE VALUE:
We value candidates who may have one or more of the following skills:
Masters Degree in statistics, material science, physics, engineering, or related discipline
Strong record of publication in the area of demonstrated development of measurement tools and techniques for very low temperature applications
Experience in calibration, data acquisition, analysis, variability, documentation
5+ years experience with increasing responsibility in the area of metrology
Proven leadership, mentorship, collaboration, and communication skills
