ABOUT THIS POSITION Inspire is looking for an intern to assist on our Direct-to-Consumer Marketing team with an emphasis in Event Planning and Brand Ambassador Marketing. This is a hybrid position where you would work in the office a few times every week during the internship, so you must be in the Twin Cities for the duration of the internship. You will be: Learning about Marketing and why it's important at Inspire Understanding the process of how to plan a large event for 100+ people Immersed into a fast-paced corporate environment where you will learn how to prioritize your work Assisting with the day-to-day operations of The Ambassador Program Communicating with real patients who have Inspire through video calls, phone calls and email OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Event Planning:Assist with the planning of our annual Ambassador event that takes place in Minneapolis and brings in roughly 100 or more Ambassadors from all over the U.S. Creativity:Utilize your creative skills to create merchandise for the Ambassador event, create and update marketing materials, and participate in small campaigns to engage our Ambassadors Writing:Assist with our monthly Newsletter to Ambassadors that includes patient stories, updates at Inspire, surveys,news stories that feature ambassadors, and more. Communication:Communicate with various departments at Inspire through email, video calls, or in-person meetingsto complete projects and tasks Social Media: Engage with Ambassadors to find and create social media content for our Social Platforms like Facebook and Instagram. QUALIFICATIONS Educational Requirements: Working toward a four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or Event Planning.
