Twin Cities Orthopedics PA ATC Minnehaha Academy (CERTI03951) in Golden Valley, Minnesota
The AT-C will provide athletic training services to student athletes grades 9-12 at Minnehaha Academy and function as a member of the Twin Cities Orthopedics Outreach Program. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health). Essential functions: Serve as Licensed Athletic Trainer at Minnehaha Academy Responsible for the assessment, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of acute, chronic, and emergency injuries and illnesses Refer student-athletes to physician and/or specialists as needed Documentation of injury management Provide practice and event coverage Effective communication with doctors, coaches, parents, administrators, co-workers, and athletes is essential. Provide and assist in community education as needed Work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends Assist in the administrations and further development of the Twin Cities Orthopedics Outreach Program Function cooperatively with all other staff, coaches, and department personnel Any and all other duties as assigned Education, experience, & other requirements: Bachelor s Degree NATABOC certification Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Minnesota Current CPR certification required 1-2 years of High School Athletic Trainer experience preferred. Essential Requirements: Ability to: Travel independently throughout the workplace (which may include movement from floor to floor); stand for long periods of time Work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Frequently work at a fast pace, with unscheduled interruptions and deadlines Converse in a calm, friendly manner Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Proficiently operate modern clinic and office (e.g., PC) equipment; and communicate on and operate the phone system.
