Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a mid-level Environmental Engineer to join the team of a client within their Environmental Services Division. This position, based out of Western United States, will provide support to multiple environmental based contracts with federal and private sector clientele. While remote, this individual will be expected to travel about 50% of the time to project sites located on abandoned mine land and orphaned oil/gas wells. They will be performing site investigations, remediations, sampling, and overall project management.

Skills and Requirements

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience as an environmental scientist/engineer

• Experience working on abandoned mine land sites, and orphaned and abandoned oil/gas wells

• Experience with CERCLA projects

• Knowledge of how to oversee the removal action designs and reclamation of these sites

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage the data pulled from the sites and projects and make decisions from it

• BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or similar. Advanced degree is a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Earth. Experience with ArcGIS or AutoCAD a plus. null
