More about the role
The Total Rewards Manager provides expertise in managing and developing compensation and benefits schemes (including pension schemes) with a primary focus on UK, Ireland, Israel and Italy (UKIII) . Additional support for Europe and Africa may be required. You will contribute to the smooth running of compensation and benefits schemes currently provided and make sure they satisfy the business needs and the legal requirements and other governance commitments. You will also identify and implement any opportunities to improve future provisions so the schemes best meet the needs of the business.

As UKIII Total Rewards Manager, you will
Ensure that the required tasks connected with the Compensation and Benefits plans in Europe and Africa (EU-A C&B) are completed in a timely and accurate manner by providing best practice input and technical oversight of administrative activities, in partnership with local HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence.
Verify the accuracy of management information provided to various bodies, whether for legal compliance or governance purposes, by review and oversight of completed data from internal and external sources.
Achieve effective governance of UKIII benefit plans by maintaining a comprehensive and accurate inventory of benefit provision in each country and ensuring changes and renewals follow the process of authorisation.
Achieve effective governance of UKIII policies (Car Policy, Bike to work, EAP, etc) by maintaining a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the application of the appropriate policy in each country and ensuring changes follow the process of authorisation
Periodically assess market competitiveness of Air Products’ benefits offerings in countries of operation. Working with the EU-A C&B leader, propose changes as needed.
Develop and maintain accurate, effective and up-to-date employee communications, using sources such as the company intranet and linking to external provider content when appropriate
Identify actions for C&B processes optimization and cost efficiency
Contribute to make Air Products' C&B offering into modern world identifying, analysing and proposing best and innovative practices (such as Flex Benefits, tax optimization benefits plans) etc
Work jointly with the European Pension Manager, the local HR and the MyHR team to ensure a smooth Pension process management in the UKIII sub-region.
As UKIII Total Rewards Manager, you already have
Previous experience of supervision of C&B programs (annual compensation planning preparation and support; pay equity and total compensation evaluation vs. market analysis; working with external vendors/ administrators to ensure efficient services to plan members including communications, enrolment and leaver processes; life assurance and healthcare benefits in relevant geographies; experience with UKI pension plans, trustee liaison and provision of statistics and information to aid their governance and decision-making; annual cycle of pension plans and legal compliance such as the completion of returns and reporting)
Experience with Success Factors and Workday would be beneficial
Personal characteristics, such as being honest and direct, with no hidden agenda; a team player, collaborative and considerate
Ability to deliver against tight timelines, and work well under pressure
Exceptional influencing skills, assertive without being antagonistic or alienating
Professional demeanour, outstanding communication skills
