Technical Pre-Sales Consultant (Voice Services)

Job Purpose:

To provide Pre-Sales technical support relating to our Unified Communications portfolio to the sales teams throughout the Xerox group including acquired companies within the UK. Be up to date and conversant with all current UC technologies provided as a part of the Voice Services portfolio.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Voice Services you will support an allocated group of sales account managers within the Xerox group and acquired companies in a Pre-Sales technical capacity relating to all aspects of our Unified Communications product sets.

  • Experienced with both a Pre-Sales and UC technical background you will attend sales account meetings with the sales account managers to identify UC opportunities within the client base, assessing current UC capability and able to offer alternate improved and more functional solutions.

  • You will be able to carry our necessary surveys and put together documented solution variables and options with costs for the sales account managers to propose.

  • Be able to assist with proposal preparation and able to answer all technical queries prior to a solutions sale.

  • Once sold you will provide all necessary contract documentation for the correct solution to be ordered along with a SoW, porting doc, assisting the support team with solution provision and preparation for install.

  • You will maintain knowledge of all UC solutions and offerings keeping in regular contact with or wholesale solution providers attending any update technical sales training courses.

  • Ideally you will have a strong knowledge of Mitel & BT Wholesale platforms both on premise & hosted with a knowledge of Microsoft Teams a distinct advantage.

  • Undertake other duties appropriate to the post as directed by line management
