Planate Management Group LLC Internal Auditor in Ukraine,

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Internal Auditor will examine and analyse all Company’s accounting data, financial records, HR and business operational processes. Also assesses and evaluates the organization’s operations with the objective of identifying opportunities for improvement, reducing waste and production errors, and if needed, reporting fraudulent activities in support of the planate Ukraine Office. This position is independent from the Company’s management team.

The position requires experience auditing, preparing and presenting financial reports, human resources, procurement handling, and risk management, along with in-depth expertise in administration. knowledge of general labor laws, compliance with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the Annual Audit Work Plan and ensure its full and effective implementation, and prepare the requisite internal audit reports.

  1. The Company’s financial reporting to ensure timeliness and accuracy, and evaluates financial and non-financial report design to better-enable managers to assess their units’ performance.

  2. Apprise management of internal audit findings, follow up on the implementation of the external auditors’ recommendations to management

  3. The Company’s non-financial policies, processes and procedures that affect the Company’s ability to measure and monitor its financial performance and to achieve its goals and objectives – both financial and otherwise – and recommend changes thereto as deemed necessary.

  4. Compliance with the Company’s financial risk management policies and strategies.

  5. Assess compliance with the Company’s financial and non-financial policies, processes, and procedures, and recommend actions to remediate problems.

  6. Develop and implement such tests as may be necessary to validate the accuracy of the Company’s general ledger and its regular financial processes – payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  7. Develop and implement such tests as may be necessary to validate the accuracy of the Company’s financial reports and the actions directly driven thereby (e.g. tax and incentive compensation payments), and to ensure that such actions are accurately and timely undertaken.

  8. Develop financial risk mitigation policies and strategies for the Company and its various units, and coordinate as necessary with those responsible for monitoring and managing business and legal risk.

  9. Report the findings of the various reviews, assessments and tests in timely fashion to the President and assist the Company’s Advisory Board as necessary.

  10. Coordinate with the various Company units to ensure that data needed by these units are provided accurately and in timely fashion.

  11. Coordinate as necessary with the Company’s outside auditors, accountants and tax advisors.

  12. Respond to and assist the managers of the Company’s various units with such concerns and issues that they may raise that relate to the core responsibilities of the Vice President – Internal Audit position as outlined above.

  13. Conduct such reviews, investigations, special studies and special projects that the President may, from time to time, direct.

  14. Perform other tasks related to the position.
