ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company Enterprise Data and Analytics Lead in Remote,

The Enterprise Data and Analytics Lead is a new senior management role on the Quality team to optimize data and analytics to improve business processes, decisions, and outcomes. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for data and analytics along with industry knowledge for implementing data governance in a large organization. They must have experience implementing a data governance program for a medium to large organization.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide hands on practical experience to design, implement, and support both the technical and managerial aspects for enterprise data and analytics solutions.

  • Recommend the proper data governance framework and tools for our organization.

  • Lead our data governance council to recommend, develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures at the data level concerning stewardship, classification, metadata management, discovery, quality, access, access controls, lifecycle management, and risk management.

  • Recommends and measures data and analytics deliverables to improve efficiency, user adoption and quality.

  • Engineer and produce KPIs and metrics that demonstrate business effectiveness in a variety of areas. Builds ad hoc and regular metrics on key performance measures.

  • Leads the development, testing and delivery of advanced dashboards, visualizations, and reports in Power BI.

  • Develops and maintains central inventory of data fields in our organization and associated data movement requirements.

  • Shares expertise with cross functional departments on data tools and techniques and practices in telling a concise story on data analytic deliverables. May present conclusions and recommendations to Senior Management.

  • Employ agile development operations to ensure successful achievement of projects and initiatives.

  • Ensure all activities comply with corporate and Federal Government regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 8+ years of overall work experience in designing, developing, and delivering Enterprise solutions.

  • 4+ years of experience providing data solutions for corporate Enterprise systems (HRIS, ATS, CRM, ERP, et al).

  • Experience with implementing data governance at a large or mid-size organization.

  • Employ methodologies and best practices for decomposing KPIs and metrics requests from executives and stakeholders into functional specifications and reusable components from Enterprise systems.

  • Leverage advanced skills with Microsoft Power BI, Data Studio, DAX, SQL, stored procedures and data modeling.

  • Resilient by working with minimal direction and guidance in delivering results in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Effectively collaborate across all levels of management and technical staff within our organization.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen.

  • Excel at written and verbal communications.
