    Inspection Technician Apprentice

    The Level 1 Inspection duties include, but are not limited to assisting the Lead Inspector in the inspection and testing of various fire protection and life safety equipment. This position requires someone who is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, customer service oriented and willing to follow direction.

    The pay rate for this position starts at $19/hour

    Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, testing and services of life safety product lines

  • Handle low voltage wiring and corresponding devices for the operation of low voltage equipment

  • Common knowledge of hand tools but will provide training for required tools

  • Must comply with all company safety standard and existing company policies

  • Communicate and follow direction from Supervisor and/or Lead Inspector

  • Willing to travel within the state of Colorado, as needed.

  • Willing to work nights and weekends, as needed.

    Job Qualifications

  • Desires a career in the fire protection industry

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required

  • Completion of one NICET level exam within the first 90 days of employment is required

  • Experience with technology such as iPad, smartphone, etc.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean MVR; in accordance with Company policy

  • Clean and professional appearance and reliable transportation

  • Willing to pass post-offer drug screen, background and reference check

    Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
