City Of Glenwood Springs Certification Instructor in Glenwood Springs, Colorado
POSITION SUMMARY:
Conduct certification courses for participants of all ages and abilities at the Glenwood Springs Community Center following American Red Cross or American Heart Association Certification and Class curriculum and guidelines or similar designated certification organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Prepare lesson plans in accordance with organization instructor guidelines. 2.Gather, stage, and return necessary equipment. 3.Instruct classes independently. 4.Maintain a safe and inviting learning environment for participants. 5.Communicate with participants and parents/guardians of participants before and/or after classes as necessary. 6.Complete/submit course records or certifications within a timely manner 7.Distribute Program Feedback forms to participants or parents/guardians at end of session. 8.Provide Program Supervisor of total number of successful, unsuccessful, and not evaluated participants at end of session. 9.Positively interact with and provide exceptional customer service to the general public.
