About this position:

Responsible for processing various transactions for Personal Trust, Investment and Retirement Plans accounts while complying with all Company, state, and federal policies and regulations in the function of daily job duties. Work to support the goals and objectives of the department and Wealth Management group. This position is 100% in office in our Glens Falls, New York headquarters.

Responsibilities

Reconcile house and trust accounts daily; research transaction discrepancies, provide resolution, and communicate findings with customers.

Open/close accounts using various Wealth Management systems; gather and distribute assets for accounts; process deposits, contributions, and loan payments for various account types.

Process enrollment forms, investment elections, and beneficiary forms; create and process mutual fund trade files.

Post dividends and interest to daily valuation retirement plan participants; post fees and process invoices for all trust accounts; maintain accurate tax records for trust account holdings.

Perform routine account maintenance; file documents manually and electronically based on established criteria.

Create new loans for retirement plan participants; assist plan participants/sponsors with online account access.

Participate actively in cross-sell program and make referrals as appropriate.

Education/Certifications:

High School diploma or equivalent experience required

2 years of experience in Wealth Management Operations preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; ability to master multiple Wealth Management Accounting software products

Demonstrated skills in accounting and mathematics

Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet daily deadlines

Strong communications skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with customers, co-workers, and management

Must be available for extended hours during tax season or when workloads require additional time

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and some brief periods of walking/standing

Repetitive use of telephone, computer, computer mouse, and keyboard

Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times

The pay range for this position is $18.00-$23.00 an hour commensurate with experience and education.

Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s annual bonus and incentive programs, subject to individual and company performance.
