About this position:

Responsible for reviewing, researching and resolving discrepancies in customer data. Responsibilities will also include dealing directly with outside companies/agencies/financial institutions and ensuring that laws, regulations and policies are adhered to. Provide technical support and service to customers and branches. Assist Team Leads and Manager with coordinating work tasks. This position is 100% in-office at the following locations:

Glens Falls, New York

Colonie, New York (All Training is in Glens Falls, New York)

Responsibilities

Research, report and provide resolution to exceptions in a timely manner according to department policies and procedures.

Provide training, support, and guidance as appropriate to co-workers.

Create, update and test procedures to ensure compliance and inefficiencies are addressed.

Research and take ownership of escalated customer questions and provide timely resolution to include opening tickets with appropriate business partners.

Respond to all VISA disputes meeting department guidelines.

Review data for proper authorizations and compliance and take action as appropriate.

Update, modify and correct data meeting the department’s goals and objectives while following policies and procedures.

Provide consistent, outstanding customer service by anticipating and reacting to internal and external customer needs

Education/Certifications:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

3 years prior banking experience with expanded knowledge of banking regulations preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English (Bilingual); comfortable speaking with customers, co-workers, and management

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and solve problems independently

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.

Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour commensurate with experience and education.

Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s annual bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
