Job Title: RF Test Engineer

Job Description

Assist in the testing and troubleshooting of RF Power Amplifier designs, identifying issues and providing solutions to ensure proper functionality. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support the development and optimization of RF designs and products. Use a range of RF test equipment to measure and analyze system performance. Assist with preparing technical documentation, including test reports and data analysis for engineering and manufacturing teams. Gather and analyze data from tests to evaluate the performance of RF systems and components. Help maintain and update controlled documentation for ongoing and future projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the testing and troubleshooting of RF Power Amplifier designs.

• Identify issues and provide solutions to ensure proper functionality.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support RF design and product optimization.

• Operate RF test equipment such as network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

• Prepare technical documentation including test reports and data analysis.

• Gather and analyze data from tests to evaluate RF system performance.

• Maintain and update controlled documentation for ongoing and future projects.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may include assisting with RF design, schematic reviews, and product evaluations.

Essential Skills

• Experience with RF test equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

• 5+ years of experience working with RF Equipment.

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems.

• Proficiency in LabVIEW.

• Experience with high power electronics.

• Skills in troubleshooting and using equipment like spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and multimeters.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
