Work Schedule: Part-time Days, 7:00am - 7:30pm (2:12 hr shifts per week)
w/ rotating weekends
Location: Adventist GlenOaks, Glendale Heights, IL
What You Will Do
The Intake Specialist in Adult Pysch will conduct interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions.
Provide admissions and intake services to patients and potential patients.
Respond to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
Admit patients to the hospital and register outpatients with appropriate physician orders or transfers to another facility.
Document calls and related admission information.
Review all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence with hospital and regulatory policies.
May staff a crisis hotline.
What You Will Need
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Education: MS degree in Pyschology or Social Work is highly preferred
