Responsibilities
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, TJC and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Is a member of the Surgical team who works with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses and other surgical personnel in delivering care, pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively. Participates in the coverage of the departmental "On Call" schedule as well as shift adjustment based on the needs of the department. Is expected to attend and assist in vaginal deliverys and C-Sections. Will assist physician and RN in all phases of patient care of the obstectrical patient. Understand basic fetal monitoring and placement of fetal monitor part and wil act as a aide to RN during duration of patients stay. Will be responsible for the primary stocking of LDR's and operating rooms.
Qualifications
One year experience in an acute care setting
Minimum education as required for surgical tech certification
Current Surgical Technologist Certification or Diploma in Surgical Technology
Current BLS certification

Pay Range
$33.16 - $33.16 /hour
