Description

We are in search of an Accounting Supervisor to join our client based in the Glen Rock, PA area. You will be primarily responsible for overseeing the general accounting functions of our organization, including preparing financial reports. This role is integral in ensuring that our financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain general ledgers and prepare consolidated financial statements.

• Perform monthly closing cycle activities, including variance analysis and oversight of inter-company transactions

• Co-manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and account reconciliations.

• Assist in preparing the year-end audit package.

• Assist with cost accounting system and maintain various cost items.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Master's degree and/or CPA preferred
