Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to hire an Audio/Visual Foreman to support a very large IT Technology integrator headquartered in Glen Burnie, MD. This specific role will be located on different sites surrounding the DMV area. It will involve travel but will be provided a company vehicle and a fuel card. The Audio/Visual team is responsible for installing all AV equipment such as televisions, control panels, speakers, etc, in a plethora of different environments such as corporate conference rooms and stadium suites. The Foreman/Lead Tech will coordinate with the Project Manager and a crew of Technicians to execute entire audio-visual installation projects in commercial facilities, government facilities, finished environments, raw construction environments, universities, etc. This individual will be responsible for performing installation tasks such as: pulling cable, installing connectors, handling, and terminating fiber, mounting projects and metal fabrication, etc. They will also be responsible for reading electronic schematics & blueprints, projector and screen support structure installs, field installations of control panels/programs (Crestron/AMX), mentor technicians, provide site supervision, track the budget of the projects, understand the scope of work, and complete all documentation as needed. This opportunity will also be in a client facing role, so professionalism is extremely important.

Skills and Requirements

- 4+ years of AV installation experience

o Must have at least 2 years of experience running/managing AV install crews on small, medium, and large projects

- Customer facing experience

- OSHA 10 or OSHA30

- CTS training - Additional training:

o InfoComm CTS General Certification

o Extron AV Associate Certification

o Crestron Professional Installation Certification

o Essentials of Crestron Programming

o AMX Installer

o OSHA 30 null
