About the role:

The Demand Planner-Warehouse will come onsite each day in Glen Allen, VA, and perform system analysis on the overall product delivery and supply chain process to identify areas for performance improvement and help implementation of recommended change. Day to day you will:

  • Manage the inventory process and supply chain for third party warehouses including: 1) placing and receiving purchase orders into warehouses domestically and internationally, 2) receiving and shipping transfer orders between locations, 3) shipping sales orders out of the warehouse, 4) resolving daily issues by working with 3PL personnel, 5) managing inventory levels and product allocation across locations, maintaining quantity, quality and lot accuracy, including monthly and annual physical counts.

  • Communicate with logistics team and other internal departments to ensure orders are filled promptly, accurately and in accordance with customer specific shipment requirements. Address challenges related to shipments and warehousing of items as needed.

  • Coordinate with vendors or ChemTreat manufacturing locations to ensure accuracy of purchase orders, transfers and international orders.

  • Coordinate shipments being exported from the United States direct to customer and third-party logistics operations to international warehouses. Maintain and complete appropriate forms, logs, etc. Complete appropriate data entry in computer systems.

  • Completion of all export and import documentation (i.e. commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.) for international orders in accordance with ChemTreat and trade policy.

  • Use MRP along with other tools/visual aids to track and form sales forecasts and trends; coordinate with commercial team to appropriately set min/max reorder points and order quantities in system based on current business needs.

  • Suggest and implement appropriate procurement methods (JIT, Reorder Point, Consignment, Reducing Lead Times, or Schedule Releases) based on product specifications, supplier, and demand to optimize material velocity and availability.

  • Prepare and present end of month reporting - KPIs: on-time ship, inventory turns, working capital, inventory accuracy. Participate in stakeholder reviews, bringing insight and analysis to support improvement activities in areas such as sales, product management, inventory, and manufacturing.

  • Utilize Veralto Enterprise System and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive sustainable results.

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management preferred

  • Three (3) years of years of experience in supply chain with responsibility in buying, inventory management or a manufacturing environment; production control, capacity planning, and scheduling related functions required

  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to maneuver and analyze data required

  • Proven record of strong self-management

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
