In this position, you are responsible for the overall warehouse, inventory control, purchasing, delivery routing, and general maintenance of products and vehicles in facilities. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and train others on all equipment Assists with implementation of quality improvement programs to meet company and JCAHO standards Delivers equipment in the absence of Patient Service Technicians Develops technical knowledge, as appropriate, of the HME or respiratory products and services provided by the company. Maintains and monitors procedures for transfilling compressed or liquid gas according to FDA guidelines Maintains inventory, Perfect Commerce, as required by company policy Maintains preventive maintenance program (Equipment Maintenance Records) for all equipment lines which comply with manufacturers' guidelines and company policy Performs equipment maintenance and record keeping activities in accordance with company policy Performs or directs warehouse receiving/distribution activities Processes purchase orders as required and in a timely manner Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies and procedures Reviews shipping notices/invoices for accuracy and receives in accordance with company policy Routes deliveries as appropriate to promote time and manpower efficiencies and keep records of all routing (DAD) Performs other duties as assigned Travel Responsible for multiple locations and required to travel to all locations as assigned by the manager Qualifications Employment is contingent on Background investigation (company-wide) Drug screen (when applicable for the position) Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position) Required Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent, required Preferred Education and/or Experience Experience with medical equipment, preferred Two years' experience of retail and/or HME service technician experience, or purchasing/inventory control, preferred Medical terminology, preferred Skills and Competencies Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual) Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information Multi-task along with attention to detail Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills Work independently and as part of a team Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities Email transmission and communication Internet navigation and research Mi
