Campbell County Detention Officer in Gillette, Wyoming
Maintains a secure jail and safe custody of inmates. Is responsiblefor inmate booking, movements, care, and orientation. Maintainsorder and discipline among inmates. Safely operates equipment andvehicles, files reports, and testifies in court. Performs the full rangeof duties as assigned working independently, exercising judgment,and initiative.
QualificationsRequired:
- United States Citizen
- At least 19 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No felony convictions
- Not prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm
- Good moral character
- Be free of any physical, emotional, or mental condition whichmight adversely affect the applicants performance as adetention officer
- Must reside in Campbell County by date of employment
