Campbell County Deputy Sheriff (Peace Officer Certification Required) in Gillette, Wyoming
Enforces all Wyoming Criminal Laws. Performs county road patrol,investigates criminal conduct, serves civil papers, testifies in court,files reports, carries and qualifies with a firearm, safely operates apatrol vehicle and controls and arrests individuals. Responds toemergencies and dangerous or deadly situations. Completespaperwork regarding incidents. Interacts effectively andprofessionally with the public, administrative figures, and otheragencies. Responds to citizens; calls for service and provides servicesto all county residents.
QualificationsRequired:
- United States Citizen
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No felony convictions
- Not prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm
- Good moral character
- Be free of any physical, emotional, or mental condition which might adversely affect the applicants performance as a deputysheriff
- Peace Officer Certification Required
