Citigroup SVP, Financial Solutions Group Manager (Buffalo, NY) in Getzville, New York

This position will join the Citi Treasury Investments (CTI) Solutions team within the Finance Transformation and Governance (FTG) group. The CTI Solutions team supports a range of CTI business transformation initiatives that are central to the operation of Citigroup’s global businesses.

The CTI business is responsible for managing Citi Treasury’s investment portfolios, executing the interest rate & foreign exchange hedge programs and providing internal US dollar financing to other trading desks. CTI is also responsible for third party funding such as the issuance of benchmark debt, structured notes and credit card securitizations.

This role will be a senior project manager and will require project and program leadership experience as well as strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into simple presentation. The core responsibility for this role will be to lead multiple projects that require the installation of technical (system) and/or operational (procedural) change. In 2021, these changes include the daily estimation of economic revenue (P&L + Cost to Close), economic P&L Attribution Analysis (PAA) and Valuation consistency with Market Makers for CTI business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 1-3 project managers who are accountable for delivering business & finance change for CTI

  • Collaborate with CTI trading desks, Product Control, Risk and Operations to understand the key business problems while working with Technology to identify best-in-class, sustainable solutions

  • Succinctly present your team project updates including risks, issues and general progress at an executive level on a weekly basis

  • Meticulous daily managing of your team’s delivery schedule by using a clear & cogent project plan(s)

  • Support your direct team in the authoring of Project Charters, BRDs & Test Plans and overall project execution

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required. Graduate level degree a plus, PMP Certification a plus

  • 7-10 years of experience within financial services or consulting

  • 5 years of experience within project management and the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Solid understanding of a bank’s balance sheet, Derivative valuations and Risk Metrics

  • Experience communicating with senior managers and program sponsors

  • Significant intellectual curiosity and desire to learn how Citi Treasury functions

  • Superior attention to detail and diligence sufficient to withstand scrutiny of a senior audience

  • Must be a strong influencer and have partnering skills

  • Abstract critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Technical skills required: MS Visio, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
