Avera Gettysburg is currently seeking a RN-Coordinator looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

  • The RN Coordinator is responsible for working in collaboration with the Director of Patient Care Services to coordinate patient care within the hospital care settings (emergency department, inpatient unit, swing bed, and outpatient).

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Current licensure in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of the multi-state licensure.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 2 months from date of hire.

  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months from date of hire for RNs.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 12 month from date of hire.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, mostly days with occasional nights; 80 hours every 2 weeks

  • Every third weekend

  • Every other holiday

  • Occasional on-call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $32.50 - $48.75 per hour
