Description

Controller opportunity with a Gettysburg, Pennsylvania company. The role will cover all aspects of financial reporting for the organization including accounts receivable and payable functions, payroll, generating fiduciary statements, and managing the ERP system across all functions of the company. This role also includes a small Human Resources function covering payroll, tax accounting, and limited areas of hiring and employee maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of financial reporting for the organization

• Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions

• Maintain banking relationships

• Conduct database queries and maintenance

• Support Human Resources function covering payroll, and limited areas of hiring and employee maintenance

• Prepare financial statements

• Conduct monthly close and general ledger activities

• Perform bookkeeping tasks

• Tax accounting

• Conduct financial analysis and budgeting - forecasting

• Oversee purchasing activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Controller role or similar financial management position

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
