Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Trainer B with a Top- Secret clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Germantown, MD.

Koniag Professional Services, a Koniag Government Services company, seeking a skilled Trainer B (TB) to develop and conduct training on classification and sensitive information policies, guidelines, and procedures at Department of Energy (DOE) facilities. The TB will be responsible for preparing highly technical scientific training materials and ensuring compliance with DOE requirements.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develop and prepare DOE training materials in highly technical scientific subject areas.
Conduct training on classification and sensitive information policies, guidelines, and procedures at DOE facilities.
Perform the duties of the Document Reviewer Level 3 (DRL3), if required.
Requirements
Education:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a scientific discipline (i.e., physical sciences, engineering, or mathematics).
Top Secret Clearance required
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Meet DOE requirements to qualify as a Derivative Classifier (DC), Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI) Reviewing Official (RO), and Derivative Declassifier (DD) by the end of the contract transition period.
Meet the DOE requirements to qualify as a DC, UCNI RO, and DD at the time of hire.
At least two (2) years of recent classification experience and two (2) years of direct training experience with modern training techniques, encompassing the development of course syllabuses, student evaluations, recognition of individual student requirements, and utilization of computer-based training systems.
Knowledge of DOE classification policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Ability to develop and deliver effective training materials and programs.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in conducting document reviews as a DRL3, if required.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
