EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our office in Germantown, MD . We are looking for a candidate with a strong finance/accounting background who thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial support to the Aviation Division in all aspects of analysis and reporting, including project revenues and costs, departmental expenses, capital expenditures, and various Balance Sheet accounts.

• Ensure the highest standards of accuracy in all financial models and reports, as precision plays a critical role in business decision-making.

• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to team members.

• Work cross-functionally to provide stakeholders with analysis of financial results and facilitate monthly updates to forecasts for projects.

• Collaborate with accounting team to validate financial data integrity, bridging the gap between financial reporting and forward-looking analysis.

• Convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A or Accounting role

• 4+ years of Excel & Financial Modelling Skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with SAP & Hyperion

• Self-starter with a strong attention to detail

• Adept at navigating changing business environments

• Forward-thinker who looks to enhance business and program economics

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
