Role Overview:
As a Tax Senior Associate within the Transaction Tax practice, you will have the chance to work with various clients and industries and collaborate with a team who provides strategic tax advice and guidance on complex mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Responsibilities:
Work with a team of tax professionals in providing strategic tax advice and guidance for complex mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
Perform corporate tax planning and statutory compliance
Analyze and review financial and operational processes of M&A transactions
Conduct research projects on tax-related M&A topics
Participate in internal and external tax seminars and workshops as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
3+ years corporate tax experience with an international accounting firm, law firm, or large corporation
An understanding of the fundamentals of corporate tax planning, including statutory compliance, and experience in providing tax advice on mergers and acquisitions
Experience with federal tax and state and local tax (“SALT”) preferred
Experience with tax regulations applicable to M&A transactions preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization
Inventive, resourceful, with excellent analytical, modeling and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple engagements
Self-driven, self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced deal environment
