MarketSource is looking for a Director of Customer Success Solutions. As a member of the Commercial Business Unit, the Director of Customer Success Solutions is responsible for ensuring our customers – including but not limited to employees, clients, and delivery teams – identify opportunities for MarketSource to provide Customer Success as a Service, build the most relevant CS operations model, provide training, inspect CS technology adoption, and oversee the delivery of our CS services.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Working with product, marketing and sales leadership, develop a set of customer success offerings to include:

  • Offer Definition

  • Value Proposition \u0026amp; Market Positioning

  • Pricing Strategy

  • GTM and Sales Approach

  • Alignment with other MarketSource services \u0026amp; offerings

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and across Marketing to deliver differentiated and engaging marketing content and influence inclusion into campaigns focused on customer success

  • Create content for sales enablement and pipeline demand generation campaigns for customer success

  • Support content needs for webinars and conferences, product launches, etc.

  • Drive internal alignment with MarketSource client services to identify opportunities with current accounts

  • Collaborate with Business Development on customer success sales opportunities, and qualify opportunities

  • Serve as MarketSource customer success subject matter expert, representing MarketSource at various external events, sales opportunities, media opportunities

  • Create thought leadership on the topic of customer success to be used in white papers, marketing collateral and publishing thought leadership externally in various industry publications. Get MarketSource recognized

  • Oversee delivery of Customer Success as a Service programs including identifying talent, building operations, training material, and technology utilization to achieve mutually agreed upon client and program objectives

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

  • Built customer success from the ground up, very familiar with what it takes to successfully start a customer success organization, and how to scale it effectively. Can work with customers to put a game plan together and commercialize that game plan from a MarketSource perspective

  • Executive presence and comfortable presenting customer success strategy, discussing adoption, retention and expansion strategies, aligning MarketSource solution offerings with customer needs

  • Able to run sales motions and support the MarketSource sales team in customer success opportunities

  • Experience in sales enablement, training salespeople in opportunity identification, overcoming obstacles, effective value positioning, issue diagnosis on topics pertaining to customer success

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor ‘s Degree in Business Administration or related field required (or equivalent experience)

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or some other related field preferred

  • 5-7 years’ experience in Customer Success leadership roles or related (2+ years Director level experience is preferred)

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel nationally to visit clients, prospects, Company events, conferences, etc. as required (approximately 30%)

  • Performs additional job duties as assigned
