Shift Requirements 7am - 7pm 3-4 days/weekAbout The OpportunityPosition Summary Maintain the smooth flow of material, including movement of all virgin and regrind materials with respect to the material mixing process.Key Duties And Responsibilities- Maintain material blenders to ensure products match the Bill of Material.- Perform color and material changes.- Maintain the regrind flow to the mixers and to the correct percentages.- Transfer resin from railcars to silos, conduct and record resin counts and silo readings.- Assist the Technical crew with projects, as needed.- Relieve Production Operators and/or Material Handlers during breaks.- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).- Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.Education / CertificationsEducation Required High School Diploma or EquivalentEducation Desired Technical DegreeOther Certifications Required Or Desired Forklift certification required.Skills & ExperienceWork Experience Required 1-3 years of relevant work experience desired.Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired- Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner- Ability to STOP-THINK-ACT and work safely- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business- Ability to work on a rotating shift- Ability to work rotating job stations- Ability to effectively work in teams- Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles- Knowledge of hand tool use and careAbout ORBIS Corporation Join where we are all about the power behind possible!
