Mold Setter

Job Description

• Set up and start up molding machines, and perform daily setups, startups, shutdowns, and pulls

• Monitor and troubleshoot processing problems, and deal with inconsistent material, faulty equipment, and human error

• Document process changes, mold changes, and machine adjustments

• Inspect items to ensure quality, and use calipers and optical comparators to check products

• Maintain a clean and safe work area, and keep the toolroom and mold storage area organized
