Finger Lakes Health SECURITY MGR & EMERG MGMT in Geneva, New York
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Assistant Administrator, plans, coordinates, and directs the Safety and Security program at all facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
High school education with equivalent experience.
Bachelors degree in related field.
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice
LICENSE:
Minimum:
Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy.
NY State Security Guard License required.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
Three years supervisory experience in a related field.
Safety & Security experience
Preferred:
Previous healthcare experience.
Prior law enforcement experience.
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity, multi-cultural health system.
Ability to facilitate project management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Familiarity with NYD DOH, Joint Commission and related regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and Powerpoint
