Finger Lakes Health LEAD GROUNDSKEEPER in Geneva, New York
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, provides groundskeeping , landscaping, and snow/ice removal services. Provides training and limited supervision to other groundskeeping staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Preferred:
High School diploma or equivalency.
LICENSE:
Minimum :
Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Motor Vehicle Policy
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum :
3A and 7A NYS Pesticide certification.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
Prior experience in groundswork/landscaping and heavy equipment operation.
Preferred:
Previous lead groundskeeper experience.
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Salary Range: $19.11-$22.01
