Finger Lakes Health Director of Nutritional Services in Geneva, New York

  • POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Director of Nutritional Services is responsible for leading all aspects of food service operations at Finger Lakes Health’s Geneva, New York campus.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION:

  • Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Service management or related field.

  • Preferred :

  • Master’s Degree;

  • Courses in food and nutrition, personnel management or supervisory training

  • LICENSE:

  • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred:

  • Certification as a Dietician or Dietician/Nutritionist in New York State

  • WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum:

  • 5 years of food service experience with at least three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in a food service setting

  • Preferred:

  • Food service management experience in a healthcare setting is strongly desired.

  • SKILLS:

  • Minimum:

  • Must have a proven track record of developing and implementing programs that have resulted in customer service improvements and a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • The candidate must possess strong financial and project management skills and be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and enhance teamwork through effective role modeling.

  • The position requires excellent coaching, communication and organizational skills.

  • He/she must be familiar with NYSDOH and other food service regulations.

  • Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.

  • Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Power Point.

Salary Range: $85K to $115K annually depending on experience
