Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed daily production schedule within APO PPDS based upon net requirements generated through the supply network planning process. Review daily production performance. Adjust forward schedule based upon actual throughput.

  • Develop annual scheduling segmentation strategy to determine optimal run sizes based upon plant capacity; inventory carrying costs, service, and manufacturing costs.

  • Monitor production capacity versus requirements and identify constraints within the master schedule to ensure service.

  • Review scheduling segmentation strategy quarterly in collaboration with Supply Network Planning and Manufacturing.

  • Review and communicate exceptions (alerts) including production shortages/overages, capacity constraints, and late/early orders. Monitor changes in requirements due to demand volatility, unplanned events, and fast track activities. Evaluate solutions/options in collaboration with supply network planning to match demand and supply.

  • Measure production planning KPIs including customer service, inventory, CTI, and schedule adherence and identify root causes of KPI exceptions and develop action plans to improve.

  • Organize monthly/weekly meetings with supply network planning to conduct monthly/weekly reviews of operation and production planning KPIs

  • Plan and monitor deliveries of packaging materials under his/her responsibility to ensure all necessary materials are available when needed for production. Manage related packaging inventory levels to ensure financial targets are achieved.

  • Utilize right-sizing tools to determine appropriate safety stock levels for packaging materials

  • Define, together with procurement, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) and lot sizes depending on volume and pricing structures.

  • Review the MRP parameters every 3 months and adjust as necessary.

  • Monitor forecast for future requirements to ensure long-term material requirements can be fulfilled by supplier

Required Qualification:

  • A University Degree in Engineering, MBA/MS will be preferable.

  • Good English proficiency.

  • Good knowledge of Computer literacy, especially MS Excel/Google Sheet tools.

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communication with both internal and external partners.

  • Strong Analytical ability and decision making skill.

  • At least 2 years working experience in MFG shop floor and/or planning.

  • Be familiar with the Supply Chain concepts and operation.

  • Have knowledge on SAP operation.
