The Open Source Graphics Center is responsible for developing Linux drivers and technology for Intel's Graphics products.

In this role:

• You will need skills to dive deep into Intel's Linux graphics stack.

• You will perform Linux device driver design, development, pre-silicon/post-silicon validation, documentation, and performance analysis.

• You will be working with open source communities and internal partners to enable latest cutting edge Intel graphics virtualization technologies (Graphics SR-IOV).

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's or a Master's degree or a Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Candidate must have 3+ years of experience working in a software product development team

• Strong Programming Skills in C

• 3+ years of working experience with developing and designing Linux device drivers

• Good understanding of Linux Operating system architecture and device driver model

• Familiar with GPU virtualization like GPU pass-through, SR-IOV or container solutions

Additional qualifications which will be added advantage:

• Familiarity with Linux kernel open source contributions and practices

• Experience working with Graphics Virtualization solutions

• Experience with Linux DRM subsystem and graphics/compute SW stack

• Strong debugging and system integration skills

• Experience working in large-scale software development teams and projects

• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
