About the role

Carrier is looking for software engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and firmware engineers who demonstrate leadership skills and a strong academic record to join our competitive Carrier Engineering Leadership Program (ELP). The ELP offers new graduates the opportunity to make significant contributions to strategic projects through three eight-month rotations in various Carrier business units.

Over the course of the program, we guarantee that you will develop your skills and capabilities through hands-on, meaningful assignments that will also have the impact of accelerating your professional development! You will receive high-level training, mentoring and guidance from our experienced Managers that will positively impact your career!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering, or STEM-related field

• Strong academic performance

• Proactivity and willingness to grow

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong ability to communicate and show leadership potential

• Demonstrated technical skills in engineering, software, electrical, MBD, firmware or mechanical

• Relevant internship or co-op experiences within engineering functions

• Less than one year of professional work experience (not including prior internships)

During your time in the program, you will have the opportunity to build your technical and leadership skills within a discipline-specific track: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, and firmware engineering. In addition, you will have exposure to formal and on-the-job training in:
