KIDSTUFF PLAYSYSTEMS CAD Design Intern in Gary, Indiana
CAD Design Intern: Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Read and revise blueprints to incorporate change requests from production and engineering.
- Audit physical blueprints against digital version and note differences.
- Build instruction booklets from existing 2D drawings/sketches.
- Review Bill of Materials for completed jobs.
- Assist/shadow Engineers and CAD Designers with additional projects, as needed.
Desired Skills:
- Current high school student or recent graduate who has participated in a high school architectural or engineering training/enrichment program.
- Developing design capabilities, as demonstrated in portfolio or work samples.
- Some knowledge of 2D architectural or engineering software such as AutoCAD or Draftsight.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Pay ranging $15-18/hr.
