Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator Assistant, where you will be crucial in supporting the operations of one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality steel bar grating. In this role, you will manage material feeding to machines, use an overhead crane to transport steel coils, and collaborate with other team members to load these coils onto racks for production. Your primary responsibility will be to provide production support to the machine operator, assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

SHIFT:

1st shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM

3rd shift 11 PM to 7 AM

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in GARRETT, Indiana.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing setting which is characterized by heat and dirt. Expect overtime, including 2 hours before regular shifts and occasional Saturdays. Dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and long sleeves.
