Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Garland, Texas

Job Title: Electric Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Electric Technician and contribute to the production of high-quality plastic films by ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various equipment including extruders, printing presses, bag machines, separators, and more. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of production and safety. Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with competitive compensation based on experience.

Hard Skills

  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs

  • Experience with 480v systems

  • Minimum 3 years maintenance experience

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings

  • Knowledge of programming drives and understanding PLC Logic

  • Preventative maintenance skills

  • Experience in replacing electrical switches, current & voltage meters, AC & DC motors, heater bands, temp controllers, thermocouples, solenoids, counters, and Vector drives

Soft Skills

  • Observance of safety precautions and regulations

  • Active participation in safety programs

  • Ability to work collaboratively with operators to understand processes

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Garland, Texas.

Work Environment

1st Shift, 7:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday
