Looking for a new Mechatronics Engineering Role?

Actalent is currently hiring for a Mechatronics Engineer will be working with our client who is working on autmating a facility and the specific role is wroking on the camera and vision systems that the robotic system is using to identify and pull the product from the bins in the warehouse, (you will not be working on the whole robotic system that moves around the warehouse). Your job will be to debug issues, collect data, and replacing cameras and sensors that may have issues.

Skills:

• Linux

• Python

• Machine Vision

• Troubleshooting

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Linux OS's, including in the terminal (navigating, installing/updating packages,

• Inspecting and handling electromechanical systems (wire harnesses, controllers, cameras, motors, power supplies, etc.)

• Able to collect and clean up data, produce simple visualizations (ex. Excel, matplotlib, etc.)

• Familiar enough with mechanical CAD software (primarily SolidWorks) to view design files and take measurements
