The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Life Sciences Manufacturing in Garden Grove including the supervision of Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain functions.

Promote a safe working environment, comply with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings.- Responsible for the safe and cost effective manufacture/assembly of products, which meet or exceed customer quality and delivery requirements.- Maintain good safety and environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.- Oversee 24/5 plant environment with a strong focus on safety and industrial performance.- Responsible to lead, set expectations & assess performance of team members in a TEC culture (Thrust, Empowerment, Collaboration).- Understand and execute role as leader of Operations Manager, with a clear orientation to cost and quality improvement. Teamwork and team management is key for the success in this Roll.- Lead WCM program for their area and work with other teams to improve plant performance.- Mentor and coach team members.

This role will be the Product Compliance Officer for the Life Sciences BU within the Garden Grove site.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Science/Technical relate field (other BA/BS programs may be considered provided applicant has successfully completed fundamental math and science course work)

• 8 years' experience in a regulated industry with preferred emphasis in life sciences (e.g. Semiconductor, electronics, automotive, aerospace, pharma, biopharm, or medical device)

• 5+ years' experience managing facilities and CAPEX.

• Supervision or management of people experience

• Experience leading projects and project teams through root cause investigation and operational efficiency improvement initiatives

PROFFERED

• Master's Degree in engineering, math, quality or business statistics

• Six-Sigma/Lean Manufacturing Green Belt Certification

• Understanding of environment and cleanroom controls

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $108,100 to $172,900 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $124,315 to $198,835 . Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
