Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in UNIONDALE, New York on a per diem basis. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to event attendees, handling queries, and maintaining accurate event records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer services to event attendees

• Greet guests and provide them with necessary directions or information

• Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner

• Efficiently manage customer inquiries through email correspondence

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and process data

• Enter customer details and orders into the system accurately

• Schedule appointments as per the event requirements

• Ensure all customer-related tasks are carried out in compliance with the industry standards

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve overall customer service goals.

Requirements

• Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls.

• Experience in a call center customer service role.

• Strong customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations.

• Proficient in data entry tasks with the ability to enter and update customer information in databases.

• Ability to manage email correspondence and respond to customer inquiries via email.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Experience in order entry and processing customer orders accurately.

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and manage multiple schedules.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer issues and complaints.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.

• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
