How will you make an impact?

The Product Specialist for Lab Automation is to conduct the design of experimental method, product configuration, and system integration suitable for customer’s application so that entire analysis process including sample preparation & movement, data acquisition & transfer and communication between each instrument can be operated automatically. This role is also required to implement value proposition by integrating various products to customers in targeted market such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, bio foundry, academics, hospital, and general industry.

Responsibilities:

• Guide experimental sequence to make customer achieve best solution for their application

• Propose optimum automatic configuration by combining all product portfolio that customer needs

• Understand and support the communication protocols for integrating individual products

• Deliver a total value proposition of Thermo Fisher’s product line to key accounts in pharma/bio market

• Work very closely with global (sales & application) to give our customers best solutions.

• Collaborate actively with sales, application, marketing, and service team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above degree in life science, biochemistry, and biology

• At least 5 years of experience in setting up automated systems including robotics, liquid handler, system integration, and communication protocols between products

• Experiences in instruments for life science like microplate readers, ELISA, qPCR and so on.

• The ability to think both analytically and creatively for planning the growth of business

• Fluent English communication skills in both verbal and written
