Responsible for receiving supplies and equipment and routing stock items to designated inventory locations and non-stock items to the holding area where contents are verified and labeled with the correct delivery location. Incumbent is responsible for processing both manual and automated requisitions and computer generated picklists. Adhere to recommended inventory control procedures. Responsible for transporting supplies and equipment to and from assigned facilities/locations.

Processes both manual and automated requisitions and computer generated picklists Drag Edit Delete

Adhere to recommended inventory control procedures Drag Edit Delete

Deliver supplies and equipment promptly to user departments as requested Drag Edit Delete

Rotate stock each time a new shipment is received using the FIFO method Drag Edit Delete

Verify accuracy of incoming shipments and receive correct quantities into SMART Drag Edit Delete

Stock inventory shelves and verify that all chargeable supplies have procedure codes Drag Edit Delete

Check for outdated supplies and rotate stock when restocking supply rooms Drag Edit Delete

Assist in completing weekly cycle counts and verifying on-hand quantities Drag Edit Delete

Run local errands, including post office mail pick up and delivery, that require the use of a truck or van for pickups or deliveries. Drag Edit Delete

Make special runs in Middle TN area to pick up or deliver equipment, supplies, etc, as required Drag Edit Delete

Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages. Drag Edit Delete

Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff. Drag Edit Delete

Provide daily assistance with general clean up duties in work area Drag Edit Delete

Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record.

Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Licenses: Must posses a current Tennessee Driver’s License or State of residence. Drag Edit Delete

Minimum Work Experience Experience working in a medical supply, inventory control or receiving environment - Preferred.
