Job Summary

In the role of Sales Director, DACH you will be working within Comcast Technology Solution’s exciting new cyber security business unit, which sells SaaS and subscription security solutions to large enterprises & government entities.

DataBee is the business unit’s growth engine and is an innovative security & compliance data fabric platform, a new market segment rapidly replacing SIEM and other legacy security & compliance toolsets.

Reporting to the Head of DataBee Sales, EMEA of the CTS Cyber Security business unit, you will be responsible for hunting to find the next major customers for DataBee in your territory.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts and develop prospecting campaigns. Dive deep in understanding their business and the potential for business alignment.

  • Generate opportunities, using creative ideas as well as new techniques, tools, joint field marketing initiatives, trade shows, and partners.

  • Go high-and-wide within enterprise organizations to understand the full scope of opportunity.

  • Lead entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to finalizing opportunity outcome. This includes prospecting campaigns, driving the discovery process at meetings with both prospects and clients, forecasting, selling and ultimately closing the deal.

  • Win deals through world-class planning and preparation, as well as being consultative in your approach to solving real business problems.

  • Engage with DataBee Technology & Reseller Partners in support of sales opportunities.

  • Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with supporting ecosystem on opportunities, resolve customer issues, share best practices, and work with cross functional teams.

  • Become a trusted advisor to prospect accounts and existing customers, showcasing expertise and empathy.

  • Link Comcast’s leading technology to solid business cases.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product Management and Product Marketing.

  • You are expected to use past creative experience and sound business judgment to make decisions on the best way to drive growth in the security and compliance data fabric segment.

  • You are expected to be a self-starter with high levels of intrinsic motivation and a drive for excellence in customer service and value realization.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of the English and German languages (verbal & written). Any additional European languages will come as a bonus.

  • More than 10 years sales experience working with SaaS security enterprise technology.

  • Strong cybersecurity territory contacts at VP, SVP, CxO levels

  • Successful history of working with Resellers, SI’s, and Advisories.

  • Experience selling into large enterprise accounts & understanding complex sales cycles.

  • Experience working for a startup technology company.

  • Affinity for software, ideally with a knack for IT security.

  • Net new logo accomplishments and value selling experience.

  • Passionate focus on Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Progression; including thoughtful planning and preparation.  

  • Desire to be coached and a structured approach to work with a proven sales process.

  • Ability to use internal resources, partners, and team members to be successful.

  • An ‘in the field’ mentality leading you to meet customers & prospects face to face wherever possible. 

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
