At Regions, the Loan Fulfillment Processor collects and validates documents received for the loan file to be submitted to underwriting for final approval.
Communicates with the customer to validate the data integrity of the loan file and loan application
Collects and reviews the documentation as required by the underwriter
Communicates efficiently and effectively with the Mortgage Loan Officer and Mortgage Loan Coordinator on the status of the loan and any issues that arise during the loan process
Manages and updates the loan status every three business days
Orders third party documentation to support data collected in file or required for final loan approval
Submits completed files to underwriting in a timely manner to attain the closing date of the loan
Provides a high level of customer service and communication to all parties of the loan file
May underwrite and approve loans receiving Automated Underwriting System (AUS) approvals
Works with limited autonomy
Provides advice and guidance to less experienced associates as needed
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
High School Diploma or GED
Two (2) years of mortgage processing experience
Skills and Competencies
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Basic math skills
Data entry and typing skills
Detail oriented and focused on quality
Knowledge of AUS systems and guidelines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Strong time management
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Additional Job Descriptions:
This position requires two (2) years of direct Mortgage Processing experience.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
This position is OFFSITE.
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is the 10th and 50th percent of the market range, based on the Birmingham, AL market and level of the position.
Target Range: 37,780.00 - 46,940.00
This position is also eligible for a production-based commission with no cap on earnings.
