Insight Global Electronics Engineer in Gainesville, Florida

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for an Electronics Engineer at an accredited university in the Gainesville area. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include operating and designing PC Boards, coordinating sequence testing of PCBs, and overseeing the electronics lab in all efforts to develop the hardware and firmware essential to the CMS Experiment. Additionally, you'll be involved in collaboration with various labs from other universities, as well as responsible for presenting project progress and updates to faculty and research scientists. This position pays $38-42/hr, based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

Experience with design, fabrication, testing and operation of multi-layer high-speed PCBs

  Experience utilizing tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium, and KiCAD

Experience designing firmware for large FPGAs

  Experience utilizing Verilog, VHDL, and Vivado

Familiarity with C/C++ DAC/ADC experience

Experience training others in this space null
