Philips CAPA Engineer in Gainesville, Florida

As the CAPA Engineer, you will be responsible for the CAPA program in the Clinical Informatics Business.

Your role:

  • You will have a wide impact on the Clinical Informatics business, as the CAPA system is the lifeblood of continuous improvement and touches all aspects of the business unit.

  • Working with cross-functional CAPA teams to drive the overall CAPA program and facilitate CAPA teams, while obtaining great results.

  • Expanding your knowledge of all aspects of how a medical device company works, and the various functions systems and processes, while networking with cross functional team members and functional leaders.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience managing and/or owning multiple CAPAs and have experience in the medical device industry.

  • Your skills include structured problem solving, root cause analysis using various methods (Fishbone, 5-Why, Brainstorming, etc.), the capability to resolve conflict, have proper understanding of escalation timing and the ability work with functional teams.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You’re an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and are a collaborator with cross functional and remote teams.
