RECEIPTIONIST - MEDICAL RECORDS SPECIALIST NEEDED. Our law firm is looking for a receptionist who can work with a variety of personalities as we currently have four lawyers, each with their own legal assistant. The ideal Candidate should be organized, motivated, capable of following directions and multitasking, and have a good attitude when greeting clients and interacting with others in the office. This person will also be our medical records specialist. These duties involve obtaining and tracking medical and subrogation records for our lawyers on a variety of cases. The records specialist is responsible for maintaining the records in the appropriate locations in each attorneys files and following up for new information as needed. This person will interact with insurance agencies, subrogation departments, and medical providers to ensure the accuracy of information and protect HIPAA compliance.
