Job Description

• Working alongside of a team of various civil engineers, serving as a technical resource, mentor, and lead

• Responsible for project delivery of complete civil design packages including coordination/oversight of multiple design disciplines.

• Duties include oversight of preparation of plans, technical specifications, quantity takeoffs and construction estimates in accordance with state design manuals and standard drawings.

• Provide input to develop project-specific safety plans and implement project safety plans and ensure compliance with all Federal, state, and local safety rules and regulations

• Develop and maintain customer relationships by soliciting monthly performance feedback, identifying client needs, and identifying the next project

• Report monthly proposal results to operations manager

Skills and Requirements

· 10+ YOE in civil land development projects

· Project Management experience

  * Managing a design team is preferred

· Proposal preparation including scope, schedule and fee + contract management and billing

· AutoCAD and Civil 3D

· Professional Engineering License or Landscape Architecture License in Maryland

· Strong communication null
